Sitges 2024 presenta toda su programación
En la rueda de prensa de esta mañana se ha presentado toda la programación de este año del Festival Internacional de Cinema Fàntastic de Catalunya, para los amigos el Festival de Sitges, con un buen número de películas que aún no conocíamos, incluidas la de inauguración y la de clausura, además de algún que otro invitado más.
El actor Geoffrey Rush será galardonado con el Gran Premi Honorific en la presente edición. El actor ganador de un Oscar por Shine suele ser un secundario habitual en muchas producciones, incluso de género como Dioses de Egipto o House on Haunted Hill. En la Secció Oficial se podrá ver su último trabajo titulado The Rule of Jenny Pen, un thriller dirigido por James Ashcroft. Alexandre Aja será el otro invitado anunciado hoy y recibirá el Premi Màquina del Temps. Su nuevo trabajo Never Let Go protagonizado por Halle Berry será el film de clausura de la edición de este año.
El film de inauguración será Presence, el nuevo trabajo de Steven Soderbergh, un film de terror sobrenatural rodado desde el punto de vista del fantasma y que además contará con la presencia del director.
